Fantasy vs. Reality

My bento blogging friends think I look like Sabrina Soto from HGTV.  One of them sent me this.    My reaction ~  I look good in fantasy Facebook/Blog land!  I told her to just keep thinking that :)  In reality land I was cleaning up puke at 1:30 am and I have a big booty.  I told her this is a lucky shot of me and that is why I use it as my blog pic at Bobbi's Bentos.  I like pretend Bobbi.  She's cute!  Back to puke duty!

Note to Self:  Never meet any of those ladies in person.  My cover will be blown:)

It's for Dipping, not Drinking

Ok, I've been making the kids eat a little healthier lately but maybe I should back off a little bit.  This is what happens when you deprive your kids of the sugar and fat of childhood.  They drink the mexi-ranch dip out of the bowl at the Mexican restaurant. 

We had a Family Day during the three day weekend.  After Jo Jo Bananas drank dip for lunch at La Fiesta Andrew and I put in our ear plugs and went to Chuck E. Cheese.

 

 We stopped at Barnes & Noble.....

 and had frozen yogurt at Cherry Berry.  Joey thought it was necessary to make mustaches out of gummy worms.  Someone should teach this child some table manners.

I'm Not Taking a Picture!

All of the girls happened to have pig tails this morning so I said we should take a picture. (I really like  taking pictures..I mean REALLY like).  Elliott said, "I'm not smiling so you can put  a picture on Facebook!"  If you know Elli at all I'm sure you can totally hear that coming out of her mouth.  She is a shoot from the hip kind of girl always calling it just like it is.  I told her I'm not putting it on Facebook.  I'm putting it on the blog (you little turd).   I didn't say that last part out loud.  She asked me what a blog was and I told her only family looks at it.  She was okay with that and decided to cooperate.  This is what happened.  Dogs showed up and all 3 frijoles (Theisens ~ frijoles is beans in Spanish) started laughing uncontrollably.  All I wanted was a pig tail picture :)

Valentine!

The three amigas crafted handmade Valentine's Day cards.  They also yelled at each other and fought over what was who's and who ruined what. Share the love sisters!

Addi's I have a dream art from 3rd grade.  It says I dream of becoming an actor.  I know I will have to be good at pretending to make my dream come true.

Did I Really Just Hear That?

I was driving my children around in the swagger wagon when my ears caught part of a conversation Addi was having Elli.  She was asking her if she knew  what shotty meant.  She then proceeded to explain to her little sister that shotty is how you say shorty with swagger.  Really Addi?....REALLY!

Miss A had to pick a country and draw herself wearing the traditional clothing from it for a school project.  It is I love to read month and our school is traveling around the world with books.  This is what we came up with.  Every time I look at it I giggle.  Miss A and Dad make an uber cute Hansel and Gretel!
